Robert...how could you forget Seabiscuit? Stellar audio and video presentation IMO.

Seabiscuit was (unfortunately) not forgotten. It was one of a few titles that I was unable to view.

"All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible. This I did."  T.E. Lawrence

Good list as always, RH (love the props for Pride & Prejudice - beautiful, beautiful film), but I have to wonder - wasn't The Sting released in 2005? And where's the love for Double Indemnity?

Mr. Harris, thanks for the list. Did you not think Double Indemnity was one of the best SD classic releases last year?

Mr. Harris,
I was very surprised that you did not include the newest Criterion release of Seven Samurai in your list of Best SD Classic releases of 2006. I realize that everyone has their own opinion, but to leave out one of the best restorations of one of the best films in cinematic history left me scratching my head.

Wow, Black Hawk Down Blu-Ray wasn't on there, which is considered one of the best BD titles.
