I can't possibly recommend Majora's Mask enough. It was the unsung and unheralded semi-sequel to Ocarina of Time. In my opinion, this game is far superior to Ocarina in every way, and is in fact a very unique game story-wise. For those not familiar, or to re-spark the interest, It has nothing to do with Ocarina story-wise, but instead features a unique story of Link (young) traveling through a town when for some reason, the moon starts moving closer to the earth. You have 3 days to discover why the moon is doing this and stop it from smashing into the surface of the earth by collecting masks (also an off-shoot from Ocarina of Time). Obviously, you can't accomplish this in 3 actual days, so you use the ocarina to go back and forward in time, or slow and speed up time to accomplish your goal. This game is visually crowned by the menacing moon in the sky which if you look at it is continually getting closer and larger second by second within the game itself. When this game came out on the N64 originally, I pretty much disregarded it (like most people did), but thanks to the urging of a friend, I picked up a used copy and proceeded to play the ever-living shit out of it. To this day it remains one of the best games I have ever played. Hopefully some of you will do the same.

Obviously, there were so many plot holes & unanswered questions about "Master Higgins" from the original Adventure Island, clearly we needed a prequel to said game.

Re: Wii Virtual Console & Wii Ware Weekly Release
if you read VG Cats http://www.vgcats.com/comics/ the latest installation (Comic #269) totally expresses my recent feelings about WiiWare, and in general, the gaming industry.

My God are they ever going to release Flipnote Studio for the DSi?? The waiting is killing me.
7/27/09 at 2:06pm
I see that Flipnote is due to be released in Q3, but there's still no confirmed date. I'd guess it'll be out late this quarter, or early next, at this point.

Wait though.. Tecmo Bowl.. is that THE tecmo bowl? If this is Tecmo as I remember it as a kid, that's a must buy. I will have to check.

It was a large dual-screen arcade console if I remember right. You could play 4 people on it...

Note on The Revenge of Shinobi: This game (Depending on which release version you had) featured several plagiarized characters including Batman, and Godzilla to name a couple. However, Spider-man made an appearance as an officially licensed cameo boss. Well, not in the VC. Due to licensing issues, this Virtual Console version of Shinobi has been altered simply to change the color of the Spider-Man boss. He's now pink, apparently. I'm guessing they also use the version of the game after they changed the appearance of the Godzilla look-alike boss.
