I hadn't noticed the nature of the audio track selection to be studio-specific. Interesting. I will give that a note.
But a firmware update "could" allow the BD-10 to decode DTS HD MA? But we just don't expect that Panasonic care to make that happen... That's too bad.

Too funny. But, sadly, I'm NOT looking to upgrade. Cost prohibitive. Same as purchasing a SACD player... Or a new subwoofer...

If the "core" of the DTS-HD MA is 1536 kbps, what is the level of lossless DTS HD-MA...AND of an SD-DVD's 5.1 DTS track? For comparison's sake. Thanks!
