COMPLETE MAD, MAD WORLD on DVD?

Is there anyway for MGM/Sony/Fox Video to get the complete restored MAD, MAD WORLD on DVD? The restored (including the intermission traffic reports) version was shown at the Cinerama Dome in Hollywood a few years back, but nothing from MGM about it coming out on DVD, and you know there are people who are really passionate about this film. They could do it like the WEST SIDE STORY box of a few years ago and do it right.

And by the way, why isn't the roadshow version of John Wayne's THE ALAMO out on DVD? Did the laserdisc video master crumble to dust?

The latest I hear is that unfortunately, nothing is going to
be done to do a full Roadshow restoration of this film for DVD.

Doesn't mean that there are those of us that have given up.
