Re: Pages slow to finish last part of loading the page?
I'm aware of the problem posting last night. Parker fixed it
early this morning.
As far as the forum loading slowly? Have not seen it on my
end, but will certainly keep an eye on it.
If anyone else is having the same problem, please continue
to post it here.

Re: Pages slow to finish last part of loading the page?
I mentioned this problem in the report thread. Here's my original post from yesterday:
I'm having a problem with threads not fully loading. It appears that it's hanging on a file within the Amazon.com domain (example: http://www.amazon.com/gp/associates/...etheater05-20)
). Everything else loads in quickly except for the above mentioned file. I'm using Safari 2.0.4 under MacOS 10.4.7.
I having to hit the stop button on every page so it will skip to the first unread post. I've noticed today that the file(s) holding things up also has the format of

I really don't know what you guys are seeing as my Firefox 1.5.0.7 is loading the pages just fine.
One thing you could try is to have Firefox display the pages as IE and see if that fixes the program.

Re: Pages slow to finish last part of loading the page?
Pages open up very nicely here mon capitaine, using Firefox for over a year. I like Firefox and all it's gizmos, even if it does crash a lot more frequently than Explorer ever did, and occasionally finding that all my bookmarks have suddenly vanished without trace is not really the nicest thing Firefox is capable of. But in the page-loading department... I have no complaints.

Re: Pages slow to finish last part of loading the page?
I might suggest a cause for the slow loads....the lag seems to have begun at the same time the preview feature was added. I mean the little box that pops up to give you a look at a post before clicking on it to see what else is in the post.
just a thought.....the feature is nice, but if it is causing the slowdown, I'd vote for dropping it.

Seems a bit quicker to me this Sunday AM.
