Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price. "LP" in the RoundUp table means a store’s Sunday flyer says "Low Price". That means I could not locate a definite price for the item, and the ad is all I have to go on. Retailers use these phrases in advertisements so that they do not violate MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) agreements with the studios. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, as always, Circuit City does not guarantee their sale prices in Hawaii.

Really surprised that Target didn't advertise the SE for "Princess Bride" as I remember it being a consistent best seller in its original edition. I will check on tuesday and post a price if they are carrying it. And unless someone is REALLY convincing, I don't even see anything this week that I would RENT, much less buy!

I will be picking up Beyond the Valley of the Dolls for sure, and possibly, Medium. I took advantage of their semi-annual sale and already ordered the Criterion three disc Complete Monterey Pop Festival box set at DDD for $47.99, delivered. It includes all three films plus a bonus disc with over two hours of additional performances (most from bands who didn't make it into the film like Buffalo Springfield, The Association, etc.), and a 64 page book. Best of all, this deluxe edition winds up costing six dollars less than buying just the two single discs at BB.

My personal recommendation (at least for a rental) is Shane Black's "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang". If you like mismatched buddy-buddy movies (Shane wrote "Lethal Weapon"), you'll like this one.

I believe the 2/$20 is referring to the John Fogerty- Long Road Home DVD and CD sets ($14.99 and $9.99, respectively). I really don't believe that there is a separate CD release for the Rush set. If only there were... (and it knocked the total price down by $5!)

The BB disc is a new release this week: Pink Panther Animated Collection Volume 4: Swingin' In the Pink.

The CC Disk is a 5-disc set which was released a few months ago.
