After having just picked up The Sentinel Season One I've fallen in love with this all over again. Having picked up this gorgeous set from Circuit City for $29.99 I'm curious when we're going to see an announcement for Season 2. Has anyone watched this set yet or heard anything about future releases?

I want to get this set... but it will be a blind buy for me... I just have to hold off a bit as this month is my B'day and I put it on a wishlist I handed out... with any luck maybe I will get it!

Great show...Hopefully since CBS will have a handle on the rest of the seasons from the beginning, mabe we get some Burgi or MAGGOT (haha) interviews.

That amazon deal was priceless + the A9 discount and the fact that I had the free prime trial at the time I pre-order (which ended after it was shipped but still got free shipping) and no tax...

It was a steal!

Well, I can't wait for Season 2 and there are Four Seasons of this series. Hopefully they'll announce the release of the next season soon ...

Hope we get the rest of the seasons. I bought the first season without ever seeing the show before and really liked it. Wonder if we will get the rest of the seasons.

Gord, has there been any news on Season 2? Season 1 was nice to own on DVD but the season was way too short. Has there been any news on the horizon?

I'm hoping this show hasn't been abandoned. I'm dying to see the rest of the seasons. But, it's been almost a year since the first season came out, so I'm guessing it's not looking too hopeful for the rest.

considering season 1 was a tie-in with a movie release, why didn't they release season 2 along with the movie release on DVD, and maybe season 3 with the movie's premiere on pay-television (kinda like they did with Starsky And Hutch)

The Sentinel tv show had nothing in common (besides the name) to the movie.

I only started thinking about whether there had been any DVD boxsets released for the 90's TV series The Sentinel, whilst watching Harper's Island (Richard Burgi is in the show). I think I do remember reading something about it having been released on Region 1 a long time ago, after checking on TVShowsOnDVD and Amazon.com and finding the first season had been released on Region 1 in 2006.

I'm surprised Amazon.com are charging $27.99 for a boxset containing the ten episodes from the first season, when the set was released on Region 1 three years ago.

The Sentinel was shown briefly in the UK on I think Sci-Fi. Not been shown since.
