Re: Tribute to Redheads

I don't think it's unusual to not know her. She is Colleen Fitzpatrick, formerly of Eve's Plum, currently known as Vitamin C. As Vitamin C, she would fit in this thread. Kind of. Her hair is red, but it's more the color of Bozo the Clown's hair than, say, Alicia Witt's. Only sometimes, though. The woman changes her hair a lot.

Here she is with her hair having some red in it, but the picture's too large to display here. It's worth the click, I think.

I chose that picture for my avatar not only because Colleen looks incredible in the shot, but the thing with one ear visible through the hair gets me every time.

Re: Tribute to Redheads

Was Vitamin C one of the mock judges on "Superstar", a spoof show of American Idol on the WB (before it was the CW)?

Re: Tribute to Redheads

She looks a little bit like Andrea Roth (Rescue Me, CSI)

also a bit like both Chandra West (NYPD Blue, John From Cincinnati, CSI)

and Marjorie Monaghan (Babylon 5, Rescue 77.)

... all of whom are usually blonde (although Chandra has appeared as a red head), but I'm willing to forgive them for it.

Blonde? I usually hold that against a woman, but I'll make an exception.

I don't know Superstar, but she was a judge on there according to wiki.

Re: Tribute to Redheads

There is a striking redhead in THIS extended preview of the upcoming season of 24.

Don't know who she is, though. Although I bet some resourceful sort will chime in!

There's Jessie the yodeling cowgirl. Bullseye, he's Woody's horse. Pete the old prospector. And, Woody, the man himself. Of course, it's time for Woody's RoundUp. He's the very best! He's the rootinest, tootinest cowboy in the wild, wild west!

You rang?

I believe that would be Annie Wersching.

More photos here and here. Also a sometime blonde, but I think we can forgive her.

Hillary Tuck, who was on Life on Monday and perhaps tonight. I haven't seen it yet.

This show has a thing for redheads, from Damian Lewis to Christina Hendricks to Hillary Tuck and another redhead on Monday's show.

Re: Tribute to Redheads

Here's the other from Life, Fay Masterson, who I thought looked like an older Jewel Staite in the episode:

Look red to me, especially mine. They are both natural reds, so it's only the light if anything.

They look red to me too, though Masterson clearly hasn't been dipping into the Henna Rinse.

Re: Tribute to Redheads

Red hair is a funny thing...an "eye of the beholder" thing.

Our two kids both have bright red hair...a trait which hadn't shown up in either of our families for several generations (but we both have strong Irish backgrounds).

And the debates which can be had over whether someone has red hair can be intense..."strawberry blonde", etc.

Re: Tribute to Redheads

How much does freckling usually factor in? That's usually the ultimate qualifier for me, but then I'm sure people would debate the number of freckles per square inch. We're such a petty race...

She was the lab tech, right?

You're right about Life. I don't recall a show or movie that had so many redheads in it.

I read a article a while ago about how redheads could disappear in the next century or so.

i keep looking at their tits, regardles sof the shade of red hair.

Just kidding. I think alot of these are fair red heads, with blond hilights. I prefer a softer red head to the gingers, gingers can be creepy.

Re: Tribute to Redheads

Zachary: Very interesting link on the future of redheads. My red-headed daughter actually married another redhead earlier this year. I would suspect they will eventually do their part to keep the world inhabited with redheads for its immediate future.

Tony: To each their own, I guess! That's what makes a thread like this or the others so much fun!
