On a scale.
Bold type are DVDs new to my collection and are being watched for the very first time.
Italic type are DVDs new to my collection but have been viewed at an earlier time (either in the theater, on TV, or on an old released DVD).
Regular type are DVDs that have been watched at least once before the 2006 "season".

OK, I'm in. I did this last year for about a month, and then just sort of forgot about it.

I appologize in advance as this list has some TV titles in there, but only because I am doing a cut and past from my blog entries.

If I watch something twice or more often during the year, can I list all viewings or just the first one?

Well I'm just about ready to give this up. As someone else has stated, I also find movie watching becoming a chore. I find myself not watching other movies just so I can get through my large collection. I'm going to scale back abit and take a breather and perhaps I'll still feel like continuing.

I've gotten a good kick out of watching films since getting my first projector installed on December 18 last year. So, watching films hasn't become a core in the least.

Does anyone know the answer to my question above?

I list all the viewings, but I only count the first one.

Well, I've only got about 25 dvd's left to watch and then I've watched my whole collection. Wow, I didn't think I'd be able to do it. I've been off work on sick leave due to surgery so that has helped me meet my goal. I'm going to try and make those 25 last and of course any new ones that I've purchased.

I managed pretty well last year, I think. That's 403 titles in total. I think I had about 20 or so DVDs that I had not yet watched before the year 2006 ended. Not sure if I'll start again this year - I'd much rather just continue from 403 onwards, but I guess that's not possible.

Well, I managed to watch 449 movies from my collection. That number is all but one so I almost accomplished my goal. I can't face watching all my dvd's again this year since I found it a chore at times. I've entered the 2007 movie
challenge so I can stick to those movies that I want to watch. Maybe I'll try the dvd challenge again in 2008.
