Wassup yall, yeah I know that this topic has been beaten to death and I've done countless searches, but there are so many recommended systems, I have to narrow it down a little. I'm looking for a good quality satellite package for a small living room, prob about 12'x15'. Bookshelves will work theoretically also, but they'd have to be really small (ie, athena point 5 size). I'm a broke-ass college student; the budget's pretty low, so here are my options so far:
Athena Point5 MKII - $200
Athena Micra6 - $300
Onkyo HT-240 - $300
JBL SCS300.7 - $350
Aight, now here's the catch: I'm not keeping the sub in any of these systems, it will be sold off and replaced with a pair of Dayton 10"s, so I'm judging based solely on satellite performance. If you have any other suggestions that I can find online for ~500 or so, feel free to let me know. Everything will be running off either a Pioneer 1015 or Onkyo 602. Thanks in advance.
