I haven't received my copy yet, hope to get it by saturday. The show is pretty much a blind buy for me, I haven't seen the series since I was a kid and all I remember is the spinning, silver UFO and that it was very strange. Hopefully, now that I'm older, I will enjoy it more. It's about a high-tech secret organization, SHADO, waging a covert war against mysterious alien attackers. Since it was made by Gerry Anderson (Space: 1999, a series I really enjoyed), it should be very good.

I've only done that with one series (Joan of Arcadia--I hadn't even seen one episode of the series and went on what I'd heard and read about it), and I wasn't disappointed.

If you search UFO Gerry Anderson on Youtube, you should find some clips from the show, I think I saw an episode shown in parts listed. I will blind buy DVDs a lot. I'm a very good judge at what I might like and base things I buy on my tastes, have only been wrong once, I was hoping Van Helsing would have been fun to watch in a bad movie way, boy was I wrong lol. I blind bough Heroes Season 1 and loved it. I also plan to blind buy Prison Break one day. I wouldn't have bought UFO now, if Amazon didn't have it on sale for $35
