I don't currently have XM but I have an "XM Ready" head unit. It is the Pioneer "DEH-P9300". I am considering adding XM and have been getting prices at some of the big electronics stores. By adding the Pioneer tuner for $150 and the antenna plus adapter for about $50 plus installation these places want about $280 just to get me setup for XM.

I then called a local electronics dealer and he was nice enough to tell me that I should wait until the complete package comes out around mid-October. The complete package is supposed to contain the tuner, antenna, and adapter for about $100 plus around $40 for installation. If this is true then that is half the price of what the big stores want to charge me.

Anyone else heard of this package?
