Re: The Invaders

Guys, I just got this email from a reliable source. If anyone wants to go it should be a lot of fun to see this on a big screen and make new friends! In addition, if you don't mind making a small donation that would be great too, but not necessary. The small donation helps pay for things. The guy will be trying to do more events like this in the future. ENJOY THE SHEW!!

Stan, It is happening tomorrow @ 12:30pm on a 20 foot screen with
only 150 comfy seats. The address is : The Paley Centre for
Media,465 North Beverly Drive,Beverly Hills,Ca.90210
telephone310)786-1000. the episode is "the Experiment"

Re: The Invaders

Stuart Galbraith gave S2 of "The Invaders" a 'highly recommended' for his review posted today on dvdtalk:

The Invaders - The Second Season : DVD Talk Review of the DVD Video

The review features a nice interview with Stephen Bowie, television historian, who wrote a very enjoyable and lengthy treatise on "The Invaders" that you can link to here:

Re: The Invaders

the "shimmering fog" visible behind Roy in the intros looks to be either someone's off camera cigarette smoke or heat from one of the stage lights shimmering through another light.I doubt that they're burning incense.
Glad to see the Stuart caught the jittering on "The Possessed" and "Counterattack". As he says in the review, it's minimal and doesn't spoil the viewing experience but I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to this show (and my other favorites)

Re: The Invaders

Did anybody notice the last episode of the series, "The Inquisition", the picture looked faded and the sound was sorta muffled.
The entire series had looked fantastic and sounded great, but it was like they forgot to digitally remaster this episode !

Re: The Invaders

Yes. INQUISITION has some problems...but I doubt they put a whole lot of money into any remastering...certainly not to the extent of shows like STAR TREK.
