Berlanti is writing and directing this. I think it's a way from them to get around the WGA strike, since his DGA contract would force his hand. I don't know that he's ever written superheroes before, but every teleplay he's written has been top notch. I trust him.

Nathan Fillion

Bring back John Doe! Or at least resolve the cliff-hanger with a 2hr movie or as an extra on a dvd release.

Good choice. That dude's like the epitome of cool. And, he looks the part. Still, though . . . David Conrad. That's a real left-field choice, and he sort of looks like Nate.

Seems they're courting Ryan Gosling for the Hal Jordan/Green Lantern.

He's a bit too pansy I think. Don't see him as a fearless jet pilot. Nathon though could make it real special. The dude can play tough, but you can tell there's stuff going on behind the exterior. Then again, who would of guessed that Robert Downy Jr. would be the perfect Iron Man???

I was watching CSI last night. And weren't for the fact he was 41. He would be a great Hal Jordan...

I don't think his age should be a limiting factor, I was actually imagining Eads as Superman a few years back.

I know he's probably not even being considered, but with Berlanti and Guggenheim involved, Johnny Lee Miller, from their TV show Eli Stone, my be a decent choice.

Nathan Fillion is still the best choice, IMO.

I don't have time enough to watch all these DVDs!

Problem with those choices is that going by the script, they want a late 20-something year old actor. Hal Jordan is 27 thus why the rumour right now is Ryan Gosling. Alan Scott also has an important role so maybe one of those actors would be more suited to play him.

If they really plan on using Alan Scott. Here is your man to play him....
