I had heard rumors that Alias was going to go head-to-head with "24" in the Monday 9 p.m. timeslot. I guess the ABC execs came to their senses with this decision to make it JJ Abrams nights on ABC.
I don't recall Joss Whedon having Buffy and Angel on the same night of the week when Angel was spun off from Buffy.

Ah, I didn't watch either shows until FX started showing Buffy reruns from the beginning, so when they were shown in real time for season 4 and 5 of Buffy, I wasn't cognizant of the Buffy/Angel pairing.

Are the execs reading HTF?
The Amazing Race determines that one teammate can't do every roadblock, and now ABC does what everyone's been saying they should do with
Alias' time slot.

Great! I was hoping they would do this. Makes perfect sense. Funny, I used to consider Wednesdays a wasteland for TV shows now it's Mondays.

Whatever. I don't care if it airs at 3:00am on Sunday, I'm there.

I'm glad they did the move; now I'll only watch TV two nights a week (Weds for Lost/Alias, Thurs for Survivor).
They make a great double bill, and I am very interested to see where Alias will go in its 4th season. More Rambaldi, please!

Wednesday, January 5th. I'm not sure if it will start at 8 p.m. or 9 p.m., but two new episodes will be aired.

Lost will air at 8/7c, then Alias airs in its new timeslot at 9/8c continuing through the 10/9c hour.

Well, to like, you've got the best action sequences on TV (non-24 category), a likable lead in Jen Garner, a pretty darn good supporting cast, and absolute crazy, go-for-broke-anything-can-happen writing. The downside is an increasingly convoluted macrostory that was kind of absurd to start with. Fortunately, the word is that this season is more fun/upbeat and less soapy than the last.

ABC is playing TiVo killing games yet again. In Mountain time zone terms, Lost is airing from 7 to 8:01 as it has been for the last several episodes. Alias is airing from 8:01 to 10 for the premiere and from 8:01 to 9:02 thereafter. It looks like Law and Order will have to be a manual recording from now on with the first two minutes chopped off. I'd love it if the shows were actually longer, but the extra time is just for extra commercials.

I'd say that's more of a "still" than "again", but, yeah, it's annoying. So, Smallville and Kevin Hill will get the Replay while these get bounced to the VCR for me.
