I loved Mr. Goulet's guest appearances in
Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place/Two Guys and a Girl, including the third season finale in which he married Sharon and Johnny. Hopefully, there won't be problems when anytime he sings in this series. The band at the wedding also performed some songs that might be problematic.
Tory, I agree this series never got the respect it deserved. And I'll never forgive ABC for moving the show in its final year from its Wednesday timeslot to Fridays, only to move it back in at last minute effort to regain the viewers they lost. The series ended on a cliffhanger, with viewers voting for one of four filmed endings on the official ABC site (which all aired that night). (I won't give away what the four possible endings were, and which one got the most votes. But I can tell you the one that got the most favored was the one I voted for, and it was absolutely hilarious given these two characters’ past history together on the series. It would have made for an interesting and funny fifth season.)

Gord, sorry it took two days to reply to your post. This could be what is holding this series up. I'll give some immediate examples that come to mind (besides the others mentioned above):
There was a running (and hilarious) joke in the series where Pete is often singing (I believe) "Pleasant Valley Sunday".
"Unchained Melody" by The Righteous Brothers is played in the first season episode "Two Guys, a Girl, and an Apartment".
"The X-Files" theme can be heard in one episode in the first season when Pete and Berg are on the couch watching this Fox series. It's a pretty funny scene. Ironically, this series was set up at Fox but they passed on it.
Canadian group Barenaked Ladies (whom native Ryan Reynolds is a huge fan of and got on the show) had a significant part in the second season episode "Two Guys, a Girl and Barenaked Ladies".
In the third season episode, "Au Revoir Pizza Place", Blink 182 did a spoof of their music video "What's My Age Again?" by appearing in the nude.
There was an acappella group, "The Dan Band", that sung in the third season episode "Bridesmaid Revisited".
Pete and Ashley sing "Under the Boardwalk" in the subway in the third season episode "Once Again From the Beginning".
In the fourth and final season, "Two Guys and a Girl" did a very inventive episode by presenting the entire episode without any dialogue. The song "At Last" by Etta James played whenever Pete sees the woman in red. This is one my favorites episodes of the entire series, and the best episode, IMO, in the final season.
I can tell you I was involved with the fan community, and while many sites are defunct now (and I'll have to check to see if the two mailing lists I signed up for are still active), past experience with them tells me edits or music replacement will not be welcomed by this huge fan following. The original broadcast music was significant (although not music heavy) in this series.
I hope Fox can pull a CBS and secured all of the music for the first season, or consider licensing this out to Shout! Factory. With the exception of "The Lone Gunmen", I've had the most problems with TV-on-DVD with Fox. They won't ever secure music and hardly ever license their series out (though they did recently license out the stalled "Son of the Beach" to them).
