Lovejoy: Season 5 arrived from Amazon yesterday.
They changed the packaging....it's now in a greasy looking Scanavo case.
Looks like I better buy a replacement case for it before it wrecks the discs.

Just bought:Five Children and It (BBC-1991) mini series. Looks like a hoot!
Secret Garden (BBC-1975) mini series. Not sure about it. If it bores me I'll gie it to mom.

^^ IMO There is only one thing that's WORSE that this scenario.After waiting years for the price of a series to drop, without any luck, you decide to "Bite the Bullet" and pay the full price for a series. A week later, scanning the ads/web, you find out someone finally has discounted the price!
I'm sure that's happened at least once to all of us!

amazon.com is having SNL day today in the Goldbox thingie!$24.49 for each SNL!!!
I just ordered Season 3 & 4. Very happy about this purchase.
Hard to believe I'm now awaiting Season 5 to buy next. Hell, and Season 6 beyond that. Hopefully they will keep coming.
I've kept myself from looking ahead to see the host/musical guest list. It's always a nice surprise to wait until I'm ready to watch. Seriously can't wait to see if I actually saw Bowie's Ziggy Stardust on SNL. Or was it Fridays? I seem to remember him doing John, I'm only Dancing with a puppet and me and my family thought it was hilarious. Now I love and appreciate the song more now than I did then. Just can't wait to see that again....
