I'm going all in walls, and as a result I no longer need this custom built center channel speaker shelf.
It is made out of oak, so it will not warp. It is painted a flat black. It's designed to fit a Sony 53HS30 (or a 10 or 20). I do not know if any other Sony set uses the same cabinet.
If you own one of these TVs, you know who little space there is to mount a center channel safely up there. This shelf eliminates that concern by providing a very stable base with back supports that Velcro to the back of the cabinet.
I designed it to work with a Paradigm Reference Studio CC, which weighs about 35lbs, and it was rock solid up there. Also, it eliminates the possibility of warping the TV's cabinet.
The shelf area measures 22" wide by 11" deep, but you could safely go a little past that with no problem.
