I found a huge 1930s armoire for my entertainment center, in one section I put pull out shelves for my equipment. To make a long story short, my next 2 rebuilds were not successfull - the amount of electronics, weight and small area in which to put them made installation / changes very difficult.
I broke down and bought a Mid Atlantic slide out rack. It takes minutes to attach the tracks and slide out the rack.
The holes in the racks makes it simple to make nice neat cable runs and I must admit I should have bought it in the beginning.
Anyways, I don't see much on these type of racks in this forum so here is my 2 cents.
