Am I the only one having trouble with them today?
Was not able to access www.hotmail.com or www.msn.com today at all ...

Not even links within microsoft.com to them do not work.

Anyone having the same problem? Seems rather odd as it has been happening all day.

They could have been overwhelmed by the viruses that are going around. My company normally quarantines about 1500 virus messages per month. In the first 3 days of September we have quarantined over 10k. Total in August was over 55k !

Definitely loads of activity out there....

I don't use MSN, but I do use Hotmail, and I had no trouble accessing it today.

There was an article on CNN.com today about it, so you're certainly not the only one.

now when I type in www.hotmail.com ...the browser eventually redirects to www.www.hotmail.com.org

looks like Microsoft finally got totally hit with last weeks virus and in typical Microsoft fashion nothing is mentioned on their home page.

Aurel, when that happens it's usually your computer (IE) that's the problem, not the website or the internet.

Nevermind. I don't know. I should just keep my mouth shut.

Yeah, but when the site doesn't come up at all, the problem's not on my end.

Says the same for me as well. Anyone know a fix for this if it is indeed on my end? And how exactly can it be on my end, when all the other websites I visit come up fine? Any help would be appreciated, as I still can't get in this morning (Wednesday).
