126 minutes, give or take a few. When I checked my watch when the credits started at the end, it was straight up nine pm (started at seven sans previews).

I don't think it is a rumor anymore. Dark Horizons has (had?) a bootleg of that scene up earlier this morning.

Re: Iron Man (New Line sets 2005 release date)

It seems 8pm is the new 12 midnight. Alot of theaters around me are showing it tonight starting at 8pm. Nice to find that little surprise on Fandango so me and my wife are going tonight.

I went from zero interest in this movie to super excited, all because of how much better the trailers got.

Yep, a few theaters around me are also showing Iron Man at 8 p.m., 9 p.m., and midnight. I think I'll probably go see the 9 p.m. showing (my nearest theater has a digital projection showing at 9 p.m. and the other 9 p.m. showing is conventional film projection).

A week ago, this was a movie that I knew I'd see at some point but the good reviews actually have me interesed now. I'll probably catch it on Sunday morning.

I wasn't really tracking this movie very closely, but seeing the high scores on Rotten Tomatoes has me excited to see this now.

It's violent but bloodless for the most part. One profane word stuck out -- nothing too bad, though. I took my 8 and 10 year olds to last night's 8 o' clock show and I didn't have any occasion to cover their eyes or ask them not to repeat anything. I was more concerned that we got home way past their bedtime!

For reference, I did some eye-covering in Revenge of the Sith. I also had to say "don't say that" quite a bit as we enjoyed The Simpsons Movie.

Obviously, there is a lot of fighting, explosions, gun play and some scary moments for Tony -- but all of this is couched in humor at just the right spots.

The film is awesome, by the way. Best comic book movie ever, for me. It's stellar in every way. My only complaint -- they showed too much in the trailers.

Many Shubs and Zuuls knew what it meant to roast in the depths of the Sloar that day I can tell you.

Well, I'm going to take my son, who will be 4 in July. He has seen all of the Spiderman movies with me covering his eyes for just a few scenes.
