If you are wondering why the BD and DVD list prices are so close to each other, this program was shot in standard definition video, and the BD is simply an upscaled 16:9 SD presentation. I would not recommend paying anything extra for it...

Thread: Weekly RoundUp 11-17-2009
In the category of "Caveat Emptor", note that It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: A Very Sunny Christmas was not shot in high definition (or on film). The BD is simply an upconversion of standard definition video, and not a great one at...

It is probably also worth mentioning that the included DVD, which is bit-identical to the first disc of the original DVD release from 2002, includes a significant extra that is not included on the BD: A sound effects-only audio track in...

It may be a while before I get them written up, but for those interested, I would consider Wonder Bar and Mary Mary to be safe purchases. The image is more than acceptable.
Wonder Bar has occasional shots that look a little bit soft...
