Computers and HTPC - Page 105

Rule changes in this forum area:

1) Discussion of the process of decryption, promotion of tools to do so or endorsement of methods will NOT be allowed.

2) Discussion of archiving, converting, ripping and storing of Laserdisc, Recorded TV (DVR) and HD-DVDs for media you own will be allowed. Discussion of conversion for mobile or device usage of any and all media is allowed as long as "process of decryption" steps are not included (with the exceptions as noted for Laserdisc, Recorded TV and HD-DVD)

3) Discussions of organizing media libraries, the products of ripped media and digital copies will be allowed.

4) Discussions about the HW needed for digital content (NAS, playback, etc) will be allowed.
