I've stopped watching movies that feature chest hair.Brandon Conway said:.....
Chest hair? We're basing the possible merits of the film on chest hair?
It can be distracting, i remember watching a Robin Williams movie once, can't remember which one, he had his shirt off and i have never seen so much body hair on one human being, not saying there is anything wrong with body hair but it gave me nightmares for many weeks afterwards, so much so i have forgotten the film that featured the scene and i hope i never ever remember.TravisR said:I've stopped watching movies that feature chest hair.
Sounds like The Survivors, with Walter Matthau.FoxyMulder said:It can be distracting, i remember watching a Robin Williams movie once, can't remember which one, he had his shirt off and i have never seen so much body hair on one human being, not saying there is anything wrong with body hair but it gave me nightmares for many weeks afterwards, so much so i have forgotten the film that featured the scene and i hope i never ever remember.
Actually I think it was the Fisher King with Jeff Bridges. (; Great movie, frightening moment. But back on topic...FoxyMulder said:It can be distracting, i remember watching a Robin Williams movie once, can't remember which one, he had his shirt off and i have never seen so much body hair on one human being, not saying there is anything wrong with body hair but it gave me nightmares for many weeks afterwards, so much so i have forgotten the film that featured the scene and i hope i never ever remember.
Hmm, works fine for me.FoxyMulder said:I don't hear it, there is a little x next to the mute button on the YouTube video, i can't unmute it, no sound.
I was able to hear it without issue. This has me very excited for the score and despite my perpetual admiration for John Williams Superman theme, I can enjoy this without reservation.Hmm, works fine for me. Search for the clip on YouTube and try it there.
Works now, maybe a browser cache issue, its the same one labelled an ideal of hope that i listened to over at YouTube.Neil Middlemiss said:I was able to hear it without issue. I don't think Sam said he'd get past it...just that Zimmer's theme sounds promising. And, it does. You don't get "past" Williams' Superman score. It lasts forever.Chris Will said:I honestly don't think there is anything memorable about this track, it will be forgotten within five years after the last sequel like most Zimmer music is. I'm biased though because I can't stand modern Zimmer, really enjoy pre-2000 Zimmer.
Unlike Sam, I can't get past Williams' Superman theme, nothing will ever sound like Superman to me except for his theme.
I have to disagree with this. I think his POTC trilogy music is fantastic and his Batman music is pretty good as well (even though I like Elfman's score better). No one will ever surpass John Williams. I started taking piano lessons a year ago in hope of one day being able to play music from Williams, Horner, Shore, Elfman and Zimmer.Chris Will said:I honestly don't think there is anything memorable about this track, it will be forgotten within five years after the last sequel like most Zimmer music is.
