In terms of build, audio and video quality would you consider this a good buy. Thanks
I have the 6770 which adds DVD-A playback to the 6760. Build quality is solid, sound is exceptional and video is excellent even without 3:2 pulldown. I'm very happy with it and consider it worth a little bit more money over the $100-$150 players. On the down side, I believe the cross-over on multi channel input is stuck at 90hz (though some say it's 120) and it is a bit on the high side as I prefer about 60hz. The remote is basic but functional, load times are a bit slow but eventually it gets up and running, and last but not least the menu system is a little quircky but you get used to it. The video and audio quality make it very easy to overlook these little issues. To me it's an excellent player for the price.
