You can't connect them together.
Actually you can, but it is POINTLESS to do so.
You don't purchase a powered speaker set to use with a receiver.
With the YSP 2200, the RX-V571 is redundant.

Like others said, the YSP2200 is designed to plug into a TV and does not work wit ha receiver. Send it back and buy speakers, or send back the receiver and use the sound bar

Gentlemen thank you very much for the replies. Now I want to recommend some good loud speakers 7.1 to accompany the Yamaha RX-V571. I just have to meet a requirement, should be small.
