I was wondering if I can make use of this-
I don't have an HD compatible TV, but I do have component in on my (non-Progressive) Vega (Wega- Whatever).
Does this only work with a full HDTV?
Thanks-
I'm not quite sure what you mean. Composite cables come with the Xbox.
I found a HD pack at a local Funcoland. Hooked up and enjoying Halo in DD & 480p. Very, very nice.
Hmm, does the Advance AV Pak have a composite video connection as well as S-Video? I want to take advantage of the optical output so I can get DD sound in games, but unfortunatly my TV only has composite video inputs.
Thanks everyone.

ok for $20 you get both the comp. cable and the av adapter.....I am thinking thats a good deal! I must stop reading these threads, as they are making me want an Xbox before I had planned.

Nope, you can also use the Advanced AV pack. It has Toslink, S-vid, and composite outputs. So with either the HDTV pack or the Advanced pack you can get DD and use any of the three types of inputs on your TV (excluding RF)
