I don't get the appeal of Drew. Blah. Hope Lakota Rayne sticks around, though. Overall, the remaining talent is so scatter-shot and uninteresting.
I like Drew a lot. It's all about her and Burrito Josh to me. I do find the rest of the talent scatter-shot and mostly uninteresting.

Drew is what happens when you take a record meant to be played at 45 rpm and play it back at 33 1/3 rpm. It's almost torturous waiting on her to enunciate her words at such a slow tempo.

I've been Rachel and Melanie fans, but Rachel completely let me down in the first live show. Simon and his team destroyed her essence. Burrito Josh is the best guy. Dexter needed to go. Simone is all kinds of irritating. I also wasn't the biggest Tiah Tolliver fan. Francis might want to get realistic about being a 40+ year old female pop star.

I agree the songs were a big letdown. With one hand, Simon is always mentioning being current, but with the other hand, he's providing songs from the last century.

I've been enjoying X-Factor for the most part this year, although I still think the show hasn't found its stride. The favorites for me at this time are all the over 30 group, they have the best vocals I think but also can relate to them more as artists. The "groups" has two decent vocals that is Lakoda Rain and Stereo Hogz, otherwise just a rip-off from things like Glee which I can't stand. All of the "boy group" I hate as nothing they have is anywhere close to my taste in music. For the girl group I like Drew and Melanie, but in the end it comes back to the over 30 group I like most for overall talent.

I agree with you about Francis and think Simon was spot-on with what he told her. She is NOT a pop star but would be a GREAT Gospel or R&B type of singer. She should know her vocals by now and those would be the two categories that suit her best that can be successful for her.
