No, because even MTX says it all about SPL and not about SOUND QUALITY.

Thats why the JL W7's are decent for home applications, good sound.

320 lbs. Talk about having troubles moving it.

As far as you guys know what the beast of all beast subs? Lowest response, biggest, whatever.

Wouldnt anything over a 15" sound sloppy?

Not necessarilly, but I doubt that driver is designed for home use anyway. The volume required for that size driver is probably ridiculous too, unless it is free air or IB.

Funny. In the video they keep showing a digital readout from (what I guess is) the mic.

Oh, wow. A "whole" 100dBs? Better run for cover. *sigh*

WIth the price of gas these days lugging a 300lbs speaker around is going to cost you extra $$. But then again, they are targeting the 100K + market.

Yeah I don't understand why this thing was built. Take a look at the Avalanche 18" - a couple of those is more than anyone could ever come close to needing in a car. You'd save a hell of a lot of money, weight, and installation trouble.

About the same reason 22" "spinners" were invented. People LOVE to totally funk-up their credit for the rest of their lives so they can have the coolest car in town for two months.

Thats good Garrett as they usually wind up getting their stuff stolen or wraping themselves around a tree and totalling their cars....

No reason to assume that providing that the motor is sized properly. That's the same as betting against a 70's muscle car becasue it weighs more then chevy sprint its racing ;)
