i can confirm that it gangs is locked to region b. my US PS3 rejects the disk. no message, just goes back to the PS3 menu. must assume this is how it handles region issues. i haven't opened the crow, but what's the point. i know it's region b as well.

I picked up UK release of GoNY yesterday.

I watched the film last night. It played fine on my UK PS3, the component connection passed 720p. No Image Constant Token reduction to 480p.

The picture quality was excellent, I'm only viewing on a 42" Plasma, but the disc looked as good as my other Blu-Rays. It uses an AVC encode, average about 20 mbps according to PS3, with peaks up to 30 and dips down to 11.

No sign of edge enhancement, I was very pleased with the disc.

I will try it in my Japanese PS3 when I get the chance to confirm Region B coding or not.
