Thats strange, I thought I remembered it being 2.35:1, however all the websites that sell the disc list it as being 1.85:1
I loved his commentary on Ferris Bueller
I'll be honest, I thought it was one of the dullest, humorless commentaries I have ever heard. It really made me realize why he hasn't made a good film in 15 years, he has lost any sense of humor he once had.
It is a commentary that even made me think less of the film after listening to it. I disliked it so much I took some of that out on the film.
A proper 2-disc SE should be:
Anamorphic widescreen transfer
DD 5.1 and 2.0 Audio tracks
Commentary with John Hughes (either new or the one on the current DVD)
Commentary with Matthew Broderick, Alan Ruck, Mia Sara , and Jennifer Grey.
Trivia Track
20 Years Later: A Look Back: Interviews with the Cast and Crew
Trailers and TV Spots

Sorry for not specifying what should be on each disc.
Shouldn't the trivia track be on disc 1 so you can read it while watching the movie?
Also, there should be talent files on there so we could see what everyone in the movie has done since this classic arrived in theaters.
Where is the SE of The Breakfast Club?
with a FULL cast reunion commentary(done Goonies style, w/ Hughes) and doc.
now that would be sweet!
Side note: It's been awhile, but we use to have the actor who played the principal come in to the casino quite often where I work.
And even funnier note is that we always play the main song(dont you forget about me) piped in through the casino.
