I've been redoing a small home theater setup and am concerned before I purchase an avr. I have a klipsch rc-42 center..klipsch rb-51 as front l/r...a pair of klipsch rb-41's for surround and another pair of rb-41s for rear surround as part of a 7.1 setup....still haven't fully decided fully on a subwoofer purchase yet but will do that in the future...looking at epik for that. I'm at the point where I'm getting ready to purchase an avr and am not sure exactly which would be my better option for my setup. I was looking at the marantz nr1603 and marantz sr-5007. The 1603 delivers 50 watts per channel according to their spec sheet and the 5007 delivers 100 per channel. The klipsch center and rb -51's are listed as 75 watts rms and the rb-41's are listed at 50 watts rms. I'm concerned if I get the 1603 some will be underpowered and if I get the 5007 some will be overpowered. Am I correct in this assumption and if so what are my options? I may be worrying for nothing but you guys always seem to have good advice.
