you can all thank me for this. last week I bought the ultimate cut on dvd and then they announce this set.

Tony, think you can pick up an old DVD of Show Boat next?
I'll be getting this, too. I used to have the director's cut DVD, but sold it in anticipation of eventually upgrading that to Blu-Ray, though it was a low priority film for me to get. Now I can just wait for this set.

Shame it doesn't have what was billed as the directors cut. That one worked best. Fleshed out the theatrical without getting bloated like the ultimate cut.
