With the last pick of round 2...

"History shows again and again
How nature points up the folly of men
"

Godzilla!

And now for the recap of the draft thus far (with snide comments).

- The Incredible Hulk
- Godzilla

2. Ric Bagoly (You seriously do not want to fuck with these guys)
- Bruce Lee
- S.E. "Snake" Plissken

3. SteveGon (specializing in arm-mounted weapons and snappy comebacks)
- The Predator
- Ash (Damn you!)

4. Steeve Bergeron (old wizards 'r' us)
- Gandalf the White
- Yoda

5. John Dhein (sponsored by the letters 'c', 'l', 's', 't', 'a', and 'u')
- Galactus
- Santa Claus

6. Brian Kissinger (Do NOT take the brown acid, Mr. Kissinger!)
- Papa Smurf
- Arthur Fonzarelli

7. Brian Lawrence (It will not be unusual to see Mr. Lawrence crying when the fighting commences.)

Paging SteveGon! Your turn ended about 6½ hours ago. Because I'm such a wonderful person, you can still pick (out of order), but the fighter you choose will suffer from psoriasis and will have a loud popping sound in his/her knee when walking up the stairs.

Otherwise, it's Steeve Bergeron's turn to pick.

That's the Thing from the Fantastic Four, btw.
Thanks for clarifying. The Thing (from John Carpenter's The Thing), Thing (from The Addam's Family), and Thingy (you know... thingy... from that Monty Python sketch about things they could tax) are all still available.

:D

Man, you guys really want to lose. You're letting me pick all the best ones. I mean, what's next? Someone will pick a loser like Daredevil.

Anyway, here's my next pick:

"Eh, what's up, Doc?"

- The invincible Bugs Bunny

During the next two rounds, everyone please indicate if you want to stop at four fighters apiece or take it to 6 (or higher).
Since I pretty much already won this thing, might as well go with 6 or more. Besides, you guys really need all the help you can get! ;)

John Dhein has missed his turn.

PEOPLE!!!! Pay attention!

John may draft out of turn, but his fighter is narcoleptic. This time I mean it!

Otherwise, it's Kissinger's turn.

I was sitting here thinking about what my teams needs. I realized I need that pure, evil force on my team. That kind of foe that would kick a guy while he was down. The question is just who is evil enough? What fighter personifies evil? Perhaps Jason Vorhees? Nah, stupid teenagers manage to kick his ass all the time. Hannibal Lecter? Nah, his weakness for young, nubile FBI agents could lead to trouble. Perhaps Satan himself? No, that would be against the rules. So, there is only one man left to fit the bill: The Planter's Peanut. His salty goodness has laid waste to a many cholesterol count.
