which projector and screen size (1 Viewer)

I have a 10 x 14 room with a 10' height.
The screen will be on a 10x10x10 wall the projector on the ceiling or back wall 14' away.
I'm leaning to a painted screen at this point. Wondering what the max screen size I can paint and height off floor.
Need to have room L/R of screen for speakers.
Not really into 3D or games.
Hope this is enough info.
What can I get on low end of say $5-600 or at the high side of my budget of $1000 or so.

I answered you in the other secion, but you should be able to use a 100" diagonal screen(depending on the speakers you use). It's 49" X 87" plus 2-3" all around for a nice black border trim. As far as the height of screen, the rule of thumb is to have your eye level(when seated) approx. 1/3 up from the bottom of screen.
Projector - You need to decide if you want DLP or LCD, although most of the good choices under $1,000 are DLP. What will your throw distance be(lens to screen, when mounted)?

Yes, but it's over $1,000. Another good choice for LCD is the Epson 8350
For DLP I would recommend the Mitsubishi HC4000, about $1,200. Excellent projector.

ok those are good possibilities, I read the reviews.
Now if we want to take the budget down to say 600-700 any suggestions are that price level.

How did you get from a $1,000 budget to $700? If you're talking $700, you would need to buy a 720p projector, such as the Optoma HD66. I would not do it. I would save more money.

I don't want the 720, so scratch that idea, I was just thinking of an alternative.

Panasonic PT-AR100U about $1300
Mitsubishi HC4000 about $1000
and found BenQ ep5920 about $800 review

any others to consider?

The Pan. AR100U is LCD. I'm sticking with my recommendation of the EXCELLENT HC4000.

I have a 3000 lumens LED projector purchased from HDProjectorworld.com
I have had very good luck with it!
I have had several projectors in the past, but this one blows them all away!
I am using a 100 inch diagonal screen from DA-LITE.
Total cost delivered for both projector and screen was under $800
I have a friend who purchased a DLP projector from these people several years ago and has not had a problem with it.
This unit has short throw capability, and inputs for standard video and audio, composite video, HDMI, Suyper Video,
and an input for a PC so you can play games if so desired.
Using a blu ray DVD player gives excellent results!
Picture is still good with a standard DVD player
The up side is LED bulbs last on an average of 20,000 to 25,ooo hours and are about 1/4
the cost of standard projector bulbs.
Standard bulbs last from 2,000 to 5,000 hours if you're lucky!
