which pre/pro to buy? (1 Viewer)

It looks like the wife is gonna let me go truly separates w/in a few months, so i get to start researching now.

currently, i have sony es30 working as pre/pro

w/a rotel rmb 1066.

so, the big question is do i wait possibly forever for the outlaw 950, or do i just go ahead and buy now.

i'd love to stay below 1k but the rotel rsp 1066 looks like a great piece.

any thoughts? i'm willing to consider other options around 1k.

Is there any urgency here? I'd wait on an Outlaw or a new pre/pro coming from Sherwood in the fall. The Sony should work till then right?
