I really enjoy this CD, but have never been too crazy about how it sounds. I've read (I can't remember where, maybe here) that the remastered version sounds a good bit better, but I haven't been able to find it on the Internet. Can anybody point me to a website that carries it?

Jesse,

I think that it sounds a tad thin or "digital," that's all. With all of the sounds on that album, I felt as though it should sound more robust.

It does sound quite a bit better. Louder, fuller, punchier and cleaner.

I believe they were only remastered in Europe, yet you can get them anywhere over here (Australia).

Have you tried Amazon UK or HMV UK?

Should be able to get 'em on those sites.

Darren,

Great...louder, punchier, fuller and cleaner is what I was looking for!

Pardon my ignorance, but what are the URLs for those UK sites and how much does the CD run?

Amazon UK is the best place to get it.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...355915-0770847

This copy has the same serial number as my one - (540 996 2).

The CD runs at 48 minutes, 16 seconds.

It also has a CD-ROM video of "All This Time".

This is probably my second favourite Sting album behind Nothing Like The Sun.

He's got a new album coming in September. Hope it's a good one!

Later,

DARREN

Darren,

Everything you said about the remastered version is accurate...it sounds a good bit better than the first release. In addition to being fuller, punchier and cleaner, I think that the details are a lot more resloved. I mean, I've listened to this CD a million times and on this new release, I heard plenty of things that I've never heard before. Thanks for the recommendation!
