    Hello all!

Just wondering the best place to buy the R2 DVD version of Sleepy Hollow, preferably the French version?

    Thanks!

You could also buy it from amazon.fr:
    http://www.amazon.fr/exec/obidos/ASI...571458-0877820
The list price is 9.99 EU (8.35 EU after 15% VAT is deducted) plus 10.90 EU shipping charge to the USA for one item. Total = 19.25 EU. I find amazon.fr very reliable and use it for all my French DVD purchases.

A warning about nearly all French DVDs: If you select a language other than French, French subtitles will be forced on the picture. Discs from no other countries behave in this manner, to my knowledge.

The French DVD of Sleepy Hollow does not have forced subtitles.

The French one sounds fantastic, but the picture is a little grainier with more compression artifacts than the r1.

The Japanese version has an improved picture plus a full bitrate DTS track, best version of the two.

The French version has better packaging though, nice embossed thinpack.

Thanks for all of the help guys. I ended up buying the Japanese version at Yesasia.com, along with a few other things.
