i´m not that informed about RC1 DVD's. is there something planned with 7th heaven to be released on dvd?

all i know is that it hasn't come out yet.

why? who has the rights for the serie? fox?

It's a Paramount title, and they have suggested that it is in the works. A few months ago, there was a meeting about TV on DVD, and Paramount had a demo reel on display. One of the shows on the demo was 7th Heaven. I don't think anything is known beyond that, though: no time frame for a release, nor details about what such a release might contain.
