SUBSTITUTE by The Who
"You think we look
Pretty good together
You think my shoes
Are made of leather
But I'm a substitute
For another guy
I look pretty tall
But my heels are high
The simple things you see
Are all complicated
I look pretty young, but
I'm just back-dated, yeah
"Substitute your lies for fact
I can see right through
Your plastic mac
I look all white
But my dad was black
My fine looking suit is
Really made out of sack
"I was born with a
Plastic spoon in my mouth
The north side of
My town faced east
And the east was facing south
And now you dare
To look me in the eye
Those crocodile tears
Are what you cry
It's a genuine problem
You won't try
To work it out at all you
Just pass it by, pass it by
"Substitute me for him
Substitute my coke for gin
Substitute you for my mum
At least I'll get my washing done
"But I'm a substitute
For another guy
I look pretty tall but
My heels are high
The simple things you see
Are all complicated
I look pretty young, but
I'm just back-dated, yeah
"Substitute me for him
Substitute my coke for gin
Substitute you for my mum
At least I'll get my washing done
Substitute your lies for fact
I can see right through
Your plastic mac
I look all white
But my dad was black
My fine looking suit is
Really made out of sack"

Lets see... mine would have to be:
BTO's Taking Care of Business
as I've been working some serious hours this past 7 months.

Pardon Me by Incubus

"A decade ago I never thought I would be at 23 on the verge of spontaneous combustion, whoa is me. But I guess that it comes with the territory, an ominous landscape of neverending calamity"

I always play the theme to 'Cape Fear' when I slowly approach Sandra for some hanky-panky, the music builds up as my shadow darkens her cowering helpless body, my muscular tattood arm suddenly reaches out and grabs her.... Gaaaahh! Must remember not to type while listening to Bernard Herrmann........

"Story of My Life" -- Social Distortion

Life goes by so fast,

You only want to do what you think is right.

Close your eyes and then it's past;

(It's the) Story of my life.

Or perhaps "Pressure Drop" by Toots and the Maytals.

While my theme song is, and has been for some time, "It's the End of the World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine)" by REM (as stated previously), I must confess that the four years from 1988-1992, the Dead Kennedy's classic "Too Drunk to Fuck" might have also applied. :)
