What's this about a Spaceballs Special Edition? (1 Viewer)

Hopefully MGM has corrected the matte-framing of the Super35 presentation. Princess Vespa's nose can't be seen in widescreen, but can on the full-screen version on the original disc (unchanged since the original LD's).

Overscan on your Television actually is responsible for this. If you watch the DVD on your computer, you'll see the 'nose gag'. Hopefully MGM will compinsate for television overscan so the joke is no longer lost.

You'd have thought the cover would say "Spaceballs: The Collectors' DVD", and underneath, the quote "Merchandising, merchandising, where the real money from the movie is made!". Or maybe "We're not just doing this for money... We're doing it for a shitload of money!
