The only reason I can think of not hating Mom and Dad Save the World completely is becuase of the Light Grenade gag. That once scene redeems the time spent on that movie.

"Caddyshack 2"? What about the Randy Quaid quotes? Some good stuff there. OK, it's not Airplane, but it's still better than the worst ever, no?
Well, is it as hard to say as "Oh my God! Help me! There's a man in my office with a flamethrower!"
For me, it was one of the Adam Sandler films. I don't know which one it was. It was the one where he played a buffoon. Does that narrow it down?

I've seen worse comedies than the following, but I at least chuckled at some parts of those. The following didn't elicit even one chuckle from me:
The Royal Tennenbaums
Raising Arizona
Rushmore
Chasing Amy
The Hudsucker Proxy
Dogma
Fargo
In a nutshell, I've found the films of Wes Anderson, Coen Brothers and Kevin Smith that I've seen to be clever, but not the least bit funny.

Wow. Where do I begin?
Spaceballs - one of the lamest comedies I've ever seen & I've avoided most Brooks films made after that. Though I do love early Brooks such as Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, etc.

This list is a little embarrassing though most of the real crap I watched when I was much younger.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Weekend At Bernie's are two modern classics.

Does Limelight really count as a comedy? It has a few comedic scenes, but it's really more of a drama... (at least compared to Modern Times and City Lights)

However, Mrs. Doubtfire is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. It would have made a fantastic horror film, though. Think about it... the father is STALKING his children as a woman. Psycho is a Disney cartoon compared to this stuff. (Although, Doubtfire probably prepared the great Robin Williams for One Hour Photo as a psychotic...)

A Guy Thing-I only saw it as an excuse to do something with a girl I really liked and a couple other friends, and found myself wishing I could go to sleep about ten minutes in.

The two worst "comedies" I've ever seen are Soul Man and Man Trouble. But, as the other lists will attest, there is some stiff competition out there.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned...
Roadie
Anyone seen this? This Meat Loaf vehicle looks like one of the few films written, directed, and edited by a COMPLETE MORON. The "laughs" in this film are nonexistent.
