Steve,
I believe you. For me, the hatred is as strong as ever. If I could bottle it and sell it, we might not need gasoline anymore. But you bring up a good point. Maybe it's time to let go, and disrespect the other turds discussed in this thread:)
Take care,
Chuck

Oh where to start?

The Swarm

Most of the MST3K flicks (Manos, Werewolf, Space Mutiny, Hobgoblins, Blood Waters of Dr. Z (Dr. Z I think was the worst movie viewed on the show).

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

The worst movie I've ever seen - and I do mean worst - as in, totally devoid of any redeeming value, is one called The Creeping Terror that I saw on MST3K.
It's about some monster that goes around eating people, but the monster looks like a couple of guys wandering around underneath a big sheet of carpet. When it eats someone you can see the victim having to literally crawl into the monster's "mouth." It's pathetic.
Not even the brilliant MST3K crew could make this putrid piece of crap watchable. Check out the trivia on its IMDB listing:
Funded through the sale of roles to anyone with a few hundred dollars.
Entire film is narrated because, while filming a scene on Lake Tahoe, Nevada, director Art Nelson accidentally knocked the sound recording equipment into the lake. There wasn't enough money in the budget to replace it, so Nelson narrated the movie himself in postproduction.
It was literally the most agonizingly boring movie I've ever sat through. It was basically on a dare that I spent two hours of my life on it, and I'll never have those two hours back again. :frowning:

Wait...I've got THE worst movie ever to appear on MST3K...
Everybody sing along!
"Idiot Control Now!
Hideous Control Now!"
POD PEOPLE!
"Trumpy, you can do stupid things!"
"A leather mugmaker from the Renaissance Festival! HUZZAH!"
This movie sucked more than a porn star...thank God Joel and the Bots skewered this so badly.
Sincerely,
John Kilduff...

Of all the MST3k movies I've seen, the worst I've ever seen has got to be Hobgoblins. The Hobgoblins are obviously fake looking hand puppets, and the characters are as unappealing and loathesome as they come.

"Hobgoblins, hobgoblins, what do we do with those hobgoblins..."

Worst film ever is 'MacNolia', a Scottish version of the Paul Thomas Anderson movie, made for 50p during a wet afternoon in the Scottish Highlands by first time director Angus McDoofus, the highlight of the film was a frog falling on some guys head at the climax, och aye the noo!
Angus is currently working on his 2nd film, tentatively titled 'Nessie Come Home'.
I canna wait!!;)

This movie was so incredibly bad. The premise of the movie is when the garbage men come to take their trash the family (whose last name is Stupid) think that it is being stolen so they begin to investigate the case.
My roommate back in college rented it because Jenny McCarthy is in it. The whole thing was just painful to watch.

Another interesting poll would be the worst movie you saw in a theater, not on rental or late night television or whatever. For me, I think the winner would be Event Horizon, followed by Dr. T and the Women.
I wouldn't include things like Plan 9 just because they're entertaining despite (or because of) being bad. Instead I'd focus on things that are just hideously bad without having any redeeming camp value, like
Cops and Robbersons, or painfully tedious like Beau Travail, or ridiculously melodramatic like Grand Canyon.

I think the worst movies I have ever seen, cum on Super8 film with cardboard and wax crayon title cards. They have stars with names like Big Ben Whampole and Suzy Cherry pie.
I wish I could give some examples, but they were so bad that, after watching them, I would immediately hit myself on the head with a hammer in order to induce amnesia.

Hey this thread is back? Cool. I whine like a baby in this thread!
If we're still talking about personal nuggets of cinematic hatred, please add both National Security and Spun to my poopy list.

I hated Batman and Robin but it had Uma Thurman in it. I love her.
Blair Witch Project put me to sleep, that was a waste of my money. (If you get a chance to see The Blair Thumb, it is a pretty funny goof of BWP. IMO)
I hated Magnolia, especially the ending. I can't believe I lasted through three hours of that.
Forest Gump was highly over rated, IMO.
Battlefield Earth was terrible. Mayber because I read the book right before the movie came out. Or maybe because it's HORRIBLE!
Pretty much all of the Steven Segal movies after Marked For Death.
I can't choose just one, though.
And after reading this thread, I've got to see The Refrigerator. The tag line had me laughing for awhile.:D

Battlefield Earth.

I saw it at a packed theater on opening night. I never saw people walk about of a movie before, but only about 25% stayed to watch the end of the movie.
