I've cobbled together a system in my living room, and I'm wondering what upgrades I should consider, and what just needs to be left in place. System is 50/50 music (jazz/rock/classical) and film/tv. Listening Volume is typically around 15-20 db below reference.
Budget maximum: one thousand dollars (just to limit things)
Subwoofer: Dayton 10 inch (the fabled 25Hz one...)
Speakers (front): B&W dm303, LCR-3
Speakers (rear) Polk R-15
Receiver: Onkyo TX-SR502
CD/SACD: Sony SCD-2000ES
DVD: Oppo 971H
Display: Viewsonic 2751w
Headphones: Grado SR80
Other things-- I've got a Harmony, I get my HDTV from over the air. Satellite radio doesn't interest me.
And this is besides hddvd/bluray... one of these days I'll choose my faction, but in the meantime, what else might I consider upgrading?
