Nope. All new music is crap.
I hope my post didn't sound like I was shunning all new music. I embrace it when I do find something to my liking. I love different forms of Jazz, 50's standards, some country etc etc. There is some incredible talent around nowadays (IMHO) but I don't find the originality. That's probably inevitable as it gets harder and harder to generate a new sound these days as so much has already been done. The one exception is American Idol. That show seems to breeding some pretty unique sounds lately .
