What shows are broadcast in 5.1 digital surround? (1 Viewer)

I have found that no surround sound, 5.1 or not has ever been very dynamic or noticeable on broadcast TV. They don't seem to put work into it. I think it is because when the audio is not seperated and played on different speakers dialog might get drowned out on older stereo/mono sets. I could be wrong, but that seems like the only reason surround sound is never anything special on broadcast TV. Dulled down for the masses.
