The Bryston 4BSST is powering the mains, and the P5 my 5 other speakers (7.1).

And I'm really considering selling the 4BSST and buying an Anthem Statement P2 to replace it, and putting back some money in my pocket...

I have 2 friends that just sold their Rotel 1098 to replace them with Anthem D1.

Yes, IMHO, and to them, the D1 was way better.

I stille have my Marantz AV9000 paired with a Smart Jr. EX processor. The front 3 channels are powered by an Adcom 5503 amp. My long-time surround amp, the ancient Kenwood Basic M2 died recently and I'm using my extra amp, an Audiosource 2 x 150, in it's stead till I buy another amp. My EX channel is powered by a Rotel RB970.

Wow, it seems like B&K, Anthem, Rotel, and Aragon are the most popular units here. Aragon is most surprising to me, since I've never known anyone (until now) to own one of them fine units. I have:
