Acurus A200 + A200x5.

I have a used Bryston 4b-st in the house, but so far, I haven't been able to find something that mates well enough with it yet. Had a Sherbourn 5/5210, and an Anthem MCA-50, but not good enough. :) BTW, the Anthem's rating is 225W/ch, for 2 channels driven, but 180W/ch with all 5 channels driven.

Looking for a 9b-st now.

I have two Kenwood KM-X1000, a THX certified stereo amp predating the Select/Ultra/Ultra2 designations. They are rated at 130w per channel into eight ohms, or 270w bridged mono, also into eight ohms. One amp is powering the surround back left and right, but these are four ohm speakers, so they have more than 130w available. It's complete overkill, but my receiver only has five amps on board, non-configurable, so it's the only option at this point. The other amp is bridged, powering my subwoofer, also four ohms, so again, has more than 270w available to it. The amps are stable into two ohms, have a variable speed cooling fan (which is hardly ever on) and barely get warm, even the one running my subwoofer.

The Sunfire could crank out 800 wpc if I was running a 2 ohm load.:)

The Crown can pump quite a bit more than 800 watts at two ohms also. It can also be bridged giving 4,000 watts at 2 ohms (or was it 4 ohms? hard to remember)! So there! :)

350 watts X 2 @ 8 ohms,
700 watts X 2 @ 4 ohms,
1400 watts X 2 @ 2 ohms.

Proceed HPA-2
250 watts X 2 @ 8 ohms,
500 watts X 2 @ 4 ohms.

Proceed AMP5,
125 watts X 5 @ 8 ohms.

Parasound 1500A 210 watts I think.

Not currently using HPA-2 and Parasound.

You can see them on my web page below. The Brute 336 sits in the floor below the screen.

Hey it's amazing that no Sony guys here.
Well I do have the Sony STR-1000ES with Sony SA-VE835 speakers.
It's fanny but when you do some search you will find that each one of us mostly praises his own equipment here. That is human nature.
