WB has 5 movies coming out on Sep. 24th in their new "2-disc special editions" line of dvds. I was wondering what you guys (and gals) would like to see as a "2-disc special edition" I would like to see:

Blazing Sadles
Road Warrior
Lethal Weapon Series
Batman 1-3 (forget 4)

What do you guys think should be the next one?

Well, as I previously suggested in a thread in the Studio Feedback area, Casablanca and The Searchers would top my WB SE wishlist.
I'm also hoping they are still considering the Forbidden Planet SE which has been hinted at.
All the President's Men would also be worthy. The existing transfer is not great.

May I suggest that, depending on the point of this thread (if any), it either be moved to the Polls area or the Studio Feedback area.

All of Tim Burton's Warner Bros. titles except for "Pee-wee's Big Adventure" need the SE treatment. I'd buy SE's of "Beetlejuice", "Batman", "Batman Returns", and "Mars Attacks!"

"Krush Groove" (You could really go into 80s hip-hop culture on a 2-disc SE...documentaries, break-dancing lessons, Sheila E. and Run-DMC's "Saturday Night Live" performances and old-school rap videos from the Warner Music Group libraries).

"The Hunger" (Tony Scott movie...if they're giving a 2-disc treatment to "True Romance", why not 2 discs for this horror piece? I'd like stuff on the make-up, the meanings of lines and actions, and maybe some more Bauhaus footage as well)

"Who's That Girl?" (Okay, this one is stretching it, but here's what you can do...pair up an SE of this with Madonna concert footage and interviews from that time period)

"Purple Rain" (WIDESCREEN! Deleted scenes, "Prince And The Revolution Live!" and the footage of Prince accepting his Best Song Score Academy Award from Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner)

Sincerely,

John "This could be some good stuff" Kilduff
