What do you think of my choice for an upscaling DVD player (1 Viewer)

My current DVD player is not working well. So, I decided to buy a refurb Zenith 318. My 55in Mistsu RPTV has a DVI input, so the firmware issues is not a problem. In a perfect world I would have bought the Dennon 2910, but that is about $100 more than I can spend. So, what do you think of the choice?
Thanks for the help.

It will be interesting to see how it works for you.

Everybody I know including me uses the player at 1080i out the Component Video Outputs. In early revisions there were some issues with the DVI on it, I would think more recent firmware would have that out put being more up to snuff.

If DVI does prove problematic at all, simply load the early firmware on it and switch to component video. The 1080i out on it, is about as good as it gets for DVD period, at nearly any price.
